About Linnea

Greetings in the name of the Lord,

Psalms 95:1-2 states, Come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us give a joyous shout to the rock of our salvation! 2. Let us come before him with thanksgiving. Let us sing him psalms of praise. 3. For the Lord is a great God, the great King above all gods.

Psalms 149:1 states, Praise the Lord! Sing to the Lord a new song. Sing his praises in the assembly of the faithful.

Linnea was born in Downey California in 1980, but raised in Oceanside California a few years later. She began to sing at a very early age. Her Mom would put her in the bath tub, and turn on, “Psalty the Singing Songbook”, and she would sing and sing. She knew the lyrics to every song, knew every note, but more importantly she had a heart to follow hard after God. She loved to praise the Lord. Her Mom Judith is her inspiration. She has been a lead worshipper for over 20 years, and groomed Linnea to worship with her, and carry on that mantle. She raised Linnea on Psalty, and Integrity Music. She was always very careful as to what went into Linnea’s ears. She is her best friend, and confidant. Linnea grew up in church; her Pastor was also a huge part of her love for music. Having grown up in a Pentecostal church, they always had a good time. Singing and instruments were a huge part of any service.

Linnea also has a singing family. Coming from a long line of Pastors, Evangelists, and Worship leaders; it’s only natural that Linnea would follow in those steps. Her Grandpa was a pastor and a prophet. Her Grandma was a wise woman of God; very discerning and a pastor too. Her aunt was an evangelist and prophetess who traveled and ministered all over the states. She has two uncles and a cousin who pastor. She has many amazing examples, and is so very thankful and grateful for all of them.

Since her love for music started as soon as she could talk, it wasn’t long before she wanted to record an album. Not that everyone who has the gift of singing desires to record, but Linnea wanted that experience. At the age of 10 she told her Mom she would make a record some day, and her Mom just played along knowing that child dreams can often change. In 2002 she found her producer, Raphael DiGiorgio of Diamond Dreams Music through another individual who was recording at the time. Linnea assisted in helping that artist learn the song by recording it for her as a learning tool. It wasn’t long after that the passion to record became more intense. She told Raphael that one day they would work together, so don’t forget her. A few years later she contacted Raphael and decided to start the project. Out of this connection, “The Lion and the Lamb” was birthed.

Through perseverance, hard work and passion, we did it. Linnea says recording is such a rush. She loved the experience from beginning to the end. Linnea poured her heart and soul into this project; is taking this experience one step at a time, cherishing each moment. “The Lion and the Lamb:” had its debut in 2006. Raphael with his patience, friendship and kindness worked with Linnea to accomplish this dream of hers. Her Mom was there all along the way as a loving coach. She couldn't have done it without her. Track #4, “Holy Place” is Linnea’s pride and joy as she wrote the lyrics, while Raphael composed the music. Track #3 is also original and a favorite, “Wings of a Prayer”, written by Gina and Raphael. A couple other songs that have been favorites among listeners is; “Lord, I believe in You”, and “Lord, I lift Your name on High”, as Raphael completely revived those. Most of the songs are oldies, but revamped with an infectious vibe. A fun and unique blend of instruments are plentiful and full throughout the album. The melodies are exciting and full of life. Linnea would also like to give credit to her photographer Robert McLaughlin. He has a genuine love for photography, and that shines through with each project he endeavors. The photo shoot for the album was done at the Mission in Oceanside. The Mission is beautiful and tranquil, and a perfect place for that event.

Some of the special guests on the album are:
Meta Vanderwerff
Shelly White
Gina
Gabee Mora
Greg Corona-guitar
Eddie Aguas-guitar

This project was an amazing experience, and one that Linnea shall have fond memories of forever.  But, the real reason we are here is to glorify God. The chief end of man is to worship God and enjoy Him forever. Linnea’s Mom Judith is a wise and insightful woman of God. She is a passionate worshipper who seeks and desires to have deep seated worship with the Father. Every worship service, she seeks to take the people to the throne zone. She has instilled that in Linnea, and she also desires to see God break out in worship. There is an old worship song from Integrity Music, and it’s called “Come into the King’s Chambers”. The message of that song says after coming into the King’s chambers, you will NEVER be the same. One true encounter with the Father, and we’re changed; continuously wanting more of Him. It’s not about us, so this website will always strive to uplift Christ. Accolades’ and praises should never be our driving motivation. We are nothing without Him, so our goal and focus should always be to uplift the name of Jesus and make Him known.

With any singing engagement, there will always be humility and a passionate drive to see Jesus glorified.  Linnea is still in the beginning stages of “getting out there”, but trusts that at the perfect time, the Lord will open wide those doors of opportunities to share Him with others. Thank you very much for listening, and for sharing your time with us. Please feel free to listen to the music samples. The website is a work in progress so the bookstore will be up in time. Please check back periodically for updates. Also, please feel free to leave a comment and/or prayer requests. Linnea’s favorite saying is; we’re gap fillers, mountain movers, mountain shakers, chain breakers. Through the blood of Jesus we have overcome. We would feel privileged to pray for you. She wishes to minister to you in song. Hopefully, if you are reading this and don't know Jesus, you can experience HIM in a real way through the songs. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Linnea.

Linnea prays that each person is touched by Yeshua through the songs. "The Lion and the Lamb" has lots of variety and styles. She prays that each person listening will grow closer to the Lord. With a blend of Praise, Worship and ministry songs, there is a vibe for everyone. There are a few originals, and some favorite Praise and Worship songs that were revived. With the debut of “The Lion and the Lamb”, Linnea awaits to see what God is going to do. It's all up to HIM and all about HIM. Worship is all about going vertical, it's about the throne zone. God looks passed the art and sees the heart. Worship will always cause you to look up and totally adore the Father, it's not about us or our issues. Linnea Solomon Music desires to only edify God always. Thank you for your support~

Until Next Time, take His presence with you...

Shalom,

Linnea Solomon Music
